一周兩起棄嬰案 澳洲考慮設「棄嬰艙」

澳洲新南威爾斯州雪梨市短短一周就發生2起棄嬰事件，震驚全國。現在，該州當局表示，正考慮要仿效德國等國，在醫院設置「棄嬰保護艙」，讓母親就算要丟棄孩子，至少能讓嬰兒處於安全的狀態。

雪梨市郊一處下水道內，上周被人發現一名棄嬰，他被獨自丟棄在下水道5天後才被救起，所幸無生命威脅；前天（11月30日）早上，兩名男童在雪梨一處沙灘玩沙時，竟意外挖出一具嬰兒屍體，被發現時屍體已嚴重腐爛，連性別都難以判斷。

連續一周發生兩起棄嬰事件也引起新南威爾斯州當局高度關注，並考慮設置「棄嬰保護艙」。目前全球多個國家都設有類似設施，德國共有100個「棄嬰保護艙」、巴基斯坦共有300個。

另外，像是奧地利、捷克、法國、日本、中國大陸、美國和加拿大也設有少量類似設施，目的在於提供父母在萬不得已要丟棄孩子時，至少能讓孩子待在安全且可被立即發現的地方。
