大甲媽起駕了！6日晚間11點，鑼鼓、哨角、爆竹齊鳴，三聲起馬炮震天響，副總統吳敦義、鎮瀾宮副董事長鄭銘坤扶著媽祖鑾轎，緩緩步出廟門，展開遶境進香之旅。遶境行程改為9天8夜，今年首次在周日起駕，但一整天大甲街道仍被人潮擠得水洩不通，約有20萬信徒共襄盛舉。

廟埕也聞服貿聲

大甲一整天都是好天氣，一早攤販開始擺攤做生意，信眾及逛街人潮將街道、廟埕擠得水洩不通。今年參加9天8夜遶境的花車增加為15台，與去年相比成長了5倍之多。

下午2點恭請進香媽祖正、副爐媽、湄州媽等，安置於大殿神案上，誦經團開始誦經淨身及淨轎儀式。

總統馬英九及台中市長胡志強等人於下午5時許，恭請媽祖神像上轎安座，廟埕內擠滿了人潮，有民眾為馬總統加油打氣，直呼「總統加油，台灣加油！」也有反服貿民眾吶喊「退回服貿！」，廟門外還有人手拿布鞋，做勢丟鞋，場面一度緊張。

馬總統今年第8度參與上轎儀式，他現場當起小老師詢問信眾問題，當問到媽祖為那一個朝代的人？台下信眾齊呼「北宋！」（諧音：不爽）引發哄堂大笑，馬總統也笑開懷，暫時揮別連日學運紛擾的壞情緒。

9天8夜全程340k

晚間11時，鎮瀾宮副董事長鄭銘坤陪同副總統長吳敦義、台北市長郝龍斌、台中市長胡志強等人扶轎，立委顏寬恒也代替父親鎮瀾宮董事長顏清標出席，神轎在眾人簇擁推擠下，緩緩向南前進，信徒們手持清香，跟隨媽祖腳步踏上9天8夜的遶境行程 。

廟方表示，近年來，有越來越多廠商陸續加入贊助媽祖遶境活動，一列列花車伴隨媽祖鑾轎前進，熱鬧氣氛彷如嘉年華，來年的遶境行程將會朝「嘉年華」方式舉辦，讓更多民眾共襄盛舉！

大甲媽祖遶境進香，將行經台中、彰化、雲林、嘉義縣市21鄉鎮區，近150多間廟宇會香，全程340公里；10日於新港奉天宮舉行祝壽典禮，14日晚上駐駕清水朝興宮，15日回駕安座。
