復出江湖 惠普傳推手機平板

中央社 – （中央社台北24日電）美國著名科技新聞網站Cnet指出，惠普（Hewlett-Packard）將鎖定新興市場，推出6吋與7吋的「手機平板」（phablet），藉此重返智慧手機戰場。 惠普有意重返智慧手機市場，但光說不練已超過一年時間，如今，週一有報導指出，惠普可能以「手機平板」重返江湖。 根據「Information」網站引述消息來源指出，據傳惠普打算推出多項搭載6至7吋螢幕的手機平板。這些裝置據傳瞄準新興市場，沒有綁約空機價介於200至250美元之間。 惠普於2010年買下Palm後，就設法搶佔智慧手機市場，但惠普搭載WebOS平台的裝置卻乏人問津。惠普最終於2011年黯然退出新平板與智慧手機市場。 這當然不是業界第一次傳出惠普將重返智慧手機市場。今年初惠普表示，該公司正想方設法，重返智慧手機與平板市場，但對於何時發表新款裝置，惠普並未提供具體時間表。 甚至早在2012年9月時，惠普執行長惠特曼（MegWhitman）接受「福斯財經新聞網」（Fox BusinessNetwork）專訪時就透露，惠普正「著手」向市場推出新款智慧手機。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）1021224
