《國際金融》小摩申請數位付款專利

【時報-外電報導】比特幣熱潮延燒至金融界，美國最大銀行摩根大通已向美國專利局申請類似比特幣的數位付款系統專利，其中包括可讓使用者在網路上匿名付款的電子錢包。

據摩根大通的專利申請書顯示，公司的系統可讓使用者透過網路進行匿名的電子付款交易，無需透露姓名或帳戶號碼，也無需支付手續費。摩根大通的專利申請書並未提到比特幣，但該公司的系統與比特幣類似。

摩根大通表示，「數位付款系統可以完全匿名的方式付款，收款者甚至無從得知錢從哪裏匯入。」

該數位付款系統也形同個人的虛擬保險箱，想像它是只能接收款項的銀行帳戶，使用者可以公開其數位帳戶接受其他人的匯款，也不用擔心資金被人盜領。

此外，摩根大通也申請付款軟體專利，可與使用者的網路瀏覽器相連結，使用者購物時不必再填寫個人金融資料。

摩根大通跨足虛擬貨幣領域，凸顯該金融巨擘已加入信用卡公司，以及谷歌、蘋果和PayPal等科技巨頭的戰圈。

隨著使用者線上購物的頻率增加，業者積極搶食線上付款大餅。面對這樣的情勢，傳統金融業者勢必得提出新的虛擬貨幣應戰。。

摩根大通認為該公司的付款系統可望挑戰信用卡或是轉帳卡，成為線上交易的主流付款方式。不過也有人認為摩根大通的付款技術與比特幣性質相似，後者是時下最熱門的虛擬貨幣。
