【時報記者莊丙農台北報導】寬頻存取與家庭網路技術供應商Lantiq（領特公司）發佈新款的商業化VINAX dp方案，這是專為光纖到分配點(Fiber to the Distribution Point)應用最佳化設計的晶片組產品。藉由這款新產品，Lantiq可為電信營運商 (Telcos)和DSL網路服務供應商 (Internet Service Providers, ISP)提供一套能與有線電視業者競爭的有效解決方案，並能滿足政府寬頻規範設定的網路效能目標。

Lantiq VINAX dp晶片組能在客戶端閘道器和光纖網路分配點之間最遠達200公尺的VDSL2線路上實現300Mbps的總和傳輸速率。這款新晶片是以Lantiq為線卡應用開發的電信等級VDSL2晶片為基礎，能在工業溫度範圍內運作；同時，由於FTTdp裝置的低功耗特性，能採用被動冷卻設計方式安裝在戶外設備中。

FTTdp技術已經就緒，它能為眾多寬頻存取佈署提供光纖到府(FTTH)網路拓樸(topology)之外的另一種具成本效益的方案。FTTH需要將光纖一路佈署到客戶端，這個作法不僅昂貴，而且在許多情況下是不實際的。而FTTdp裝置能從客戶端設備的線路饋電，因此能方便地安裝在電信業者能管理的地點，而在用戶端方面，標準的VDSL CPE和饋電器則須自行安裝。Lantiq已與Alcatel Lucent、ZTE(中興)、T&W、Aethra Telecommunications等多家領先電信設備製造商合作，在全球各地成功完成FTTdp解決方案的現場測試，而且商業化系統現已問世。
