一名大陸裔美籍女子前天深夜涉嫌竊取桃園機場精品店的手環等物品，事後希望價購贓物和解，但因竊盜屬於公訴罪，航空警察局依竊盜罪嫌法辦。

航警局調查，這名年約50歲的女子原籍大陸北京，取得美國籍並在洛杉磯開設公司，經濟狀況頗佳，前天過境桃園機場時，到第二航廈逛免稅店。

她在精品店竊取手環，又到台灣土產販售區竊取一瓶「八八坑道」贈送的小瓶裝試喝酒和「吉祥如意」圖案書籤。被保安人員發現，跟隨並向航警局報案，警方盤查，在她包包起出贓物。

涉案女子發現事情大條，希望出錢把三樣贓物買下，並與免稅店和解，但因竊盜是公訴罪，航警依法移送，使她上不了飛往美國的班機。
