最近美國社群網站reddit瘋傳一篇名為「死去的女友在FB私訊我」的文章，描述一位名叫Nathan的男網友，在女朋友Emily過世之後，居然持續收到她在臉書上的訊息、甚至還在他照片上面標記。一開始Nathan以為是女友母親不小心登入，或者是被有心人士惡搞，但Nathan漸漸發現，這些訊息都是對方從以前與Emily的對話紀錄中，截取她打過的字出來重複使用的。

Nathan在女友車禍意外中喪生後，因為捨不得將女友臉書帳號轉成「紀念模式」，就一直保留著，也常常寄些小瑣事到女友帳號，讓女友「分享」他的生活，但車禍發生13個月後，竟被已故女友不斷私訊。而Nathan也將對方私訊內容po網跟網友討論，一連串的訊息都讓網友覺得毛毛的。

更加詭異的是，Nathan臉書照片，開始被Tag上Emily的名字，而且Tag的位置是Emily如果還在世應該出現的地方。Nathan無奈向網友透露，他改了很多次Emily的臉書密碼，仍然不斷收到私訊。Nathan心靈不斷被折磨，甚至覺得Emily存在越來越真實。

「Emily」甚至還拍照傳給Nathan，拍攝地點竟然就在Nathan的房間門外。根據國外網友表示，Nathan在臉書上po上那張照片後，已經消失多天了。

而有網友在Nathan貼上照片的當下立刻備份，令人更毛的是，當下備份的照片有拍到Nathan背影，但Nathan自己po的照片，背影卻消失了，國外網友擔心，Nathan不會是被Emily抓走了吧。
