淡水真理街險象 10年仍無解

淡水區有處地名俗稱「七條通」，由7條無名路匯集成大型路口，交通與地名均混亂無章法，如今僅剩「真理街」未改善。當地文化里長周敬智指出，近8成機車騎士沿真理街下坡至路口時，未依規定右迴轉，卻逆向至新生街及文化路待轉，險象環生。
「淡水七條通」由中山路、中山北路、文化路59巷、文化路、真理街、新生街匯成大型路口。
里長周敬智指出，真理街是約40度陡坡的街道，汽機車可直接從該路口駛入真理街，只有機車可順坡而下駛離真理街，但須右轉至文化路與中正路口迴轉。騎士直衝建設街、新生街、中山路，都是逆向行駛。
記者昨日現場觀察發現，幾乎所有機車騎士都未依規定右轉，反而逆向至建設街、新生街、文化路待轉，驚險場景不時上演。
「10多年老問題還是無解！」周敬智表示，希望在真理街增設交通號誌燈，供機車直行至文化路待轉，不必繞至300公尺外的中正路口迴轉。
交通局副局長鍾鳴時指出，真理街路狹，適合設單行道，但居民反對而暫不考慮；近期將檢討標誌是否足夠，另觀察車流量，再決定是否增設號誌燈。
