元旦連假台鐵準備好了！交通部台灣鐵路管理局昨（廿三）日表示，自一○三年十二月三十一日起至一○四年一月五日止共計六天，從跨年前一天起加開班次加強疏運、全線加開超過三百列次，並於十二月十七日○時起開賣，讓不論是回鄉、跨年或出遊的旅客，都可以在元旦連假期間多加利用台鐵。

台鐵局為一○四年元旦疏運旅客需要，自一○三年十二月三十一日（周三）起至一○四年一月五日（周一）止，共計六天，全線加開各級列車總計三百○四列次（含跨年晚會列車四十五列次）；其中東部幹線（含南迴線）自強號一百一十九列、莒光號五十二列、復興號及區間車二十四列，共計一百九十五列次；西部幹線自強號三十七列、莒光號三十四列、區間車三十八列，共計一百○九列次。

一○四年元旦假期車票將自一○三年十二月十七日（周三）○時起，開放網路及電話語音訂票，而相關加開列車車次、時刻的資訊，也將於十二月二日起於台鐵網站及各車站時刻公告。

另外，台鐵局今年也結合東部海岸國家風景區管理處開行「三仙曙光耀新年」郵輪式列車，自十一月二十八日上午九時起開放訂票，相關資訊請參閱台鐵局郵輪式列車網站（http://163.29.3.98/twrail_bicycle/cruise/index.as-px）。

2013年，德國獨居老人葛利特(Cornelius Gurlitt) 居所裡疑似納粹強搶的千餘件藏品曝光，估計有10億歐元(約397.719億台幣)，為全球藝術圈投下震撼彈。

這批藏品在估計後，約有500幅是納粹沒收的藝術作品，但葛利特是否該歸還藏品給原藏家，隨即引起爭論，並陷入膠著。這批藏品的法律追溯期早過，是否該還給原藏家，得憑葛利特的意願。

在得知封聖消息後，印度天主教徒都感到高興。據悉，天主教封聖程序漫長，往往得經過長達十幾年的審查，且必須是在該聖人過世滿五年後、有已知的奇蹟才會被封聖。

聖誕佳節倒數一個月，英國瓦利克郡（Warwickshire）一家聖誕樂園22日開幕，號稱「地球上最奇妙的聖誕體驗」，吸引不少家長帶著孩子前來。沒想到，該樂園才開幕一天就關門大吉，原因為收到不少家長的投訴，其中還包括「聖誕老人不夠胖」。

東網報導，該樂園名為「奇幻之旅」（Magical Journey），打著「奇妙的聖誕體驗」口號浩浩蕩蕩開幕，並宣稱園內裝飾有許多麋鹿、聖誕樹，還有列車載著小朋友去見聖誕老公公。

結果，該樂園果真提供「奇妙體驗」，數百名家長投訴，包括不滿園內的聖誕老人體型過瘦、工作人員在小朋友面前抽菸又爆粗口。另外，園區內的聖誕裝飾根本少得可憐，聖誕列車也不安全。

而樂園的票價和素質差太多也使家長不滿。據悉，平日兒童票一張約22.5鎊（約1100台幣），成人票則為15鎊（約726台幣），到了假日則更貴。不少家長現在都要求退款。而該樂園不敵眾怒，甫開張隔日就關門，聲稱將進行3天改善工作。

紐約時報報導，正在與激進組織「伊斯蘭國」（ＩＳ）打仗的伊拉克軍隊將領以貪腐聞名，一位外號「雞肉男」的將軍因為把軍中的雞肉伙食拿出去賣而得名；另一位將軍綽號「亞力酒男」（arak guy），因為他上班時愛喝這種茴香酒；還有一位人稱「代夫特將軍」（General Deftar），代夫特是伊拉克的萬元鈔票，這位將軍賣的是軍官的軍銜。

伊拉克和美國官員說，這只是伊拉克政府軍貪腐的幾個代表而已。伊拉克軍方和警方過去十年獲得美國兩百五十億美元的訓練經費和設備，並從伊拉克國庫獲得更多，但軍方和警方高層的貪汙，使他們在今春面對ＩＳ時，潰不成軍。如今美國要倚重伊拉克軍隊打ＩＳ，伊軍的貪腐成為頭痛問題。

美方堅持，伊拉克軍方是美國供應所有新援助和軍備的管道。美國國防部二○一五年的預算要求以十三億美元提供武器給伊拉克政府軍，兩千四百一十萬美元給部族戰士。
