在「小皇帝」LeBron James繳出24分、9助攻、7籃板的帶領下，熱火以110：95焚毀活塞，同時報了上次在主場輸球的一箭之仇。

「雷槍」Ray Allen斬獲18分，熱火在「閃電俠」Dwyane Wade缺陣的情況下，團隊命中率依舊高達5成6，其中三分球28投11中，因此早早就取得領先優勢，雖然活塞力圖反撲，但第三節熱火拉出一波13：2的攻勢，使得比數來到74：57。

即使Andre Drummond有19分、14籃板的雙十演出，Brandon Jennings也有19分，但活塞仍止步於4連勝。儘管強摘17個進攻籃板，不過還是討不到便宜，始終無法減緩對手的進攻節奏也是敗戰主因。

熱火一開賽就搶得先機，前9分都來自快攻，Allen隨後補進一記三分球，打出12：2的強勢開局。中場以59：53領先，第三節在Mario Chalmers與Allen的三分球帶動下，帶著21分的領先進入決勝節。

活塞現為全聯盟最擅於抄截的球隊，迫使熱火上半場發生超過10次失誤，但下半場有所改善。

熱火板凳此役表現優異，以24投15中的命中率包辦41分，Roger Mason Jr.贊助12分，「鳥人」Chris Andersen挹注10分。

熱火全場16次失誤James就囊括6次，Chris Bosh進帳16分。衛冕軍下一戰對手為全聯盟戰績最佳的溜馬。

熱火目前以16勝5敗穩居東區第二；活塞則以10勝11敗名列東區第5。
