貪字沖昏頭 茂利老闆身家上億

「貪，讓徐東銘鋌而走險！」茂利「暗藏」毒澱粉，禍害消費者健康，接近徐家的地方人士說，茂利負責人徐東銘十足生意人性格，這次出事一點不意外。

徐家的澱粉廠是由徐東銘的父親徐茂成創立，台南市善化區早年有「甘薯粉王國」之稱，徐家搭上地方產業發達順風車，累積好幾桶金，坐擁大片土地。地方人士說，徐家靠近南科附近的土地逾十公頃之多，每年光租金就有上千萬元。

徐茂成有二男五女，徐東銘是次子，原在高雄商界活動，後來回善化故鄉接掌父親澱粉事業，還到越南投資澱粉廠，雖虧損數千萬元，但不損其財力。

「今年五月都出事了，竟還敢賭一把！」接近徐家的地方人士感慨說，徐家經濟充裕，許多地都在精華地段，只租不賣，當穩賺不賠的包租公，財力是「億來億去」，這輩子根本不愁吃穿；徐東銘去年更開始跨足房地產，財產加倍，卻還大賺黑心錢，「只能說貪字讓他昏了頭」。
