面對老東家，Joe Johnson獨得23分，籃網也以91比86擊敗老鷹，拿下本季最高的 3連勝。

Mirza Teletovic也得到16分，代替Deron Williams上場的 Alan Anderson，則拿下了14分，這波的主場 4連戰，籃網前兩場都贏，接下來勇士跟熱火將陸續到訪。

雖然主力球員受傷，不過籃網還是平了本季最高的3連勝，上一次的3連勝，是在12月 7 到12日。

Paul Millsap則為老鷹拿下了16分，他們最近的 3連敗，也平了本季最高，Jeff Teague同樣得到16分，但他全場15投5中並不理想。

Deron Williams週日腳踝受傷，本季缺陣第12場比賽，週一他已經去照了MRI，明天將再進一步評估傷勢。

主力控衛不在，籃網其他的後衛挺身而出，Shaun Livingston也拿下12分，Joe Johnson的表現尤其關鍵，在此役之前，他連 5場比賽得分個位數，也是個人11年來首見。

今天Joe Johnson 22投10中，包括終場前6分21秒，讓籃網超前的三分球。
