龍應台訪中前提要先尊重台灣

大陸文化部部長蔡武日前公開表示歡迎台灣文化部長龍應台訪問大陸。同時糾正大陸翻譯，不應將「龍應台部長」翻譯為「Minister龍應台」，而應譯為「Madam龍應台」。龍應台今天回應，「Madam龍應台」的稱呼並不適當，「我是部長！」

龍應台說，她非常願意訪問大陸，也歡迎蔡武訪台。但她必須以兩邊社會都覺得獲尊重的適當身分前往。她希望北京更了解台灣人民更在乎什麼？兩岸要和平，透過文化是最好的鑰匙。她訪問大陸的前提，一定是台灣社會覺得獲得充分尊重，這個前提不解決的話，很難看到怎麼去落實。
