長榮2艘新船將於2月交付 投入遠東-中東航線

貨櫃航商長榮 (2603) 在韓國三星重工造船廠承造的第16艘「L」型船「長茂輪」和第17艘同型船「長慈輪」預計於2月交船，並投入遠東-中東航線，替換現有其他船舶。

長榮副總裁謝志堅指出，隨著船隊汰舊換新計劃的進行，長榮在節約燃油成本方面已看到明顯的成效，未來隨著其他新船的交付，將進一步提升長榮船隊的競爭力。

「長茂輪」與「長慈輪」分別隸屬長榮海運新加坡公司和長榮海運英國公司，可承載8452 個20呎標準貨櫃，配備有948個冷凍櫃插座，船舶全長334.8公尺，寬45.8公尺，吃水14.2公尺，巡航速度可達24.5節。

長榮於2010年船價趨於合理化時，啟動新造船計劃，陸續訂造共30艘「L」型貨櫃輪，並租用5艘8800 TEU與10艘13800 TEU的船舶；而為進一步優化船隊的船型結構，近期簽約承租10艘14000 TEU的新貨櫃船，已做足準備好迎接逐漸觸底回溫的航運旺市。
