研究：身高矮小 易患妄想症

（中央社倫敦2014年1月29日綜合外電報導）根據今天公布的研究，身高較矮小的民眾更容易有妄想症、自卑感和過度不信任他人。

根據刊登於「精神病學研究」期刊（PsychiatryResearch）的報告，科學家指出，用虛擬方式讓1個人變得比實際身高矮，可能讓他的自我感覺變差，也更害怕別人會想傷害自己。

科學家說，研究顯示自尊心低落可能導致偏執想法，而科學家也將依此研擬出更有效治療重度妄想症的方式。

研究主要執筆、英國牛津大學的弗利曼（DanielFreeman）說：「高大身材總是和事業和感情順遂連結在一起。身高可傳達權威感，身高愈高，人們通常會更有權威感。」

他解釋，在這個實驗中，當我們用虛擬方式讓受試者身高變矮，這些受試者便會感到不如別人，而這會讓他們過度不信任他人。

弗利曼補充說：「儘管這些都發生於虛擬實境的刺激，但我們知道，人們在虛擬環境中的行為，與現實生活相同。」
