菲律賓2013經濟成長7.2%

菲律賓全國經濟發展局局長巴里薩坎(Arsenio Balisacan)今天(30日)表示，儘管去年最後3個月菲律賓遭遇強烈颱風和地震，但去年2013年全年的經濟成長率仍然達到7.2%。

超級颱風海燕於去年11月8日橫掃菲律賓中部地區，造成至少6,000人確認死亡、數千人失蹤，約400萬人失去家園。另外，菲律賓觀光勝地薄荷島(Bohol)10月15日發生芮氏規模7.1強震，地震震垮橋梁、破壞道路、引發山崩，民房、學校、診所和其他重要基礎設施被夷為平地，多座歷史性教堂也成為一片瓦礫，罹難者人數達201人。

巴里薩坎表示，即使遭遇重大天然災害，但菲律賓去年第四季(10至12月)的經濟成長率仍然維持在6.5%，是僅次於中國大陸，表現第二好的亞洲國家。

巴里薩坎還表示，如果不是這些天災，菲律賓的經濟表現將會更好。
