盧彥勳於澳網後返台休息3周，農曆春節後轉戰美國參加曼菲斯公開賽，首戰面對從會外賽出線的地主好手庫卓拉，第一盤因手感不佳落敗，但他隨即穩住陣腳，連拿兩盤逆轉，終以3比6、6比3、6比3取勝，晉級8強。

「一下場有點不太適應，找不到比賽節奏，打得有點掙扎。」盧彥勳澳網結束後近一個月沒有比賽，首戰遭遇世界排名106的庫卓拉，第一盤就被破了3個發球局，但他展現韌性，一分一分慢慢扳回來，後兩盤打出應有實力，逆轉闖過頭關。

拿下過年後第一勝的盧彥勳，8強對手將是另一地主選手庫茲涅索夫，世界排名雖只有131名，但前役才剛扳倒大會第8種子哈薩克好手庫庫金，盧彥勳要繼續挺進，仍需小心應戰。

世界男子職業網球協會（ATP）250級的奧克蘭網球賽，台灣好手盧彥勳（右）11日獲得亞軍。
