墨西哥政府接管Oceanografia

墨西哥檢察總長卡拉姆（Jesus Murillo Karam）表示，在花旗集團發現被當地石油服務業者Oceanografia S.A.（OSA）騙走貸款並要求展開調查後，政府已接手管理Oceanografia。

卡拉姆說，國營石油生產商Pemex發現Oceanografia偽造發票向花旗多拿4億美元貸款。他說：「檢察總長辦公室正與金融當局及花旗合作，以盡快釐清刑事責任。」

卡拉姆表示，政府會保護Oceanografia的營運，並試圖回收被騙走的資金。

前墨西哥能源部長加布里埃爾（Mario Gabriel）說：「即使這不是墨西哥第一次接管這種規模的民營能源公司，這在墨西哥史上也很少見。我在能源部時沒發生過這種事。」Oceanografia涉嫌詐欺使花旗把去年獲利調降2.35億美元。
