遭觸身球問候 老爹怒嗆開戰

上回光芒隊因為領先幅度大仍執行盜壘，惹惱紅襪，31日雙方因觸身球爭議板凳再度清空，儘管紅襪最終延長賽以3比2贏球，但遭光芒先發普萊斯(David Price)以觸身球問候的「老爹」歐提茲(David Ortiz)怒氣並未平息，賽後直言兩邊是「槓上」了，普萊斯已失去他的尊重。

相隔5天，光芒紅襪兩隊至芬威球場開戰又上演板凳清空；1局下普萊斯面對老爹，首顆94英哩(151公里)速球就往歐提茲背部招呼，「老爹」臉上明顯露不出不悅。4局下普萊斯又丟中卡普(Mike Carp)的手臂，雙方板凳瞬間清空，老爹相當憤怒地衝上前開罵。

賽後歐提茲怒氣未消，提到去年雙方有過不愉快，不過當時普萊斯曾經打電話向他道歉，彼此也將事情說開了，「去年季後賽我們痛宰他們，結果我本季首度面對他，他就丟觸身球。我要說的是，我們開戰了，下次他再丟我，最好要準備手套。我對他已經毫無尊敬可言。」

「老爹」說道，他尊重聯盟每一個球員，而別人也用同樣的尊敬回應，「如果你因為我曾經重擊你兩次生氣，那麼我要說，我在聯盟接近500轟，這就是比賽的一部份，孩子。」

去年普萊斯與歐提茲就曾爆出不愉快，主要是美聯分區季後賽第2役，普萊斯曾不爽歐提茲轟單場第2支全壘打時，站著不跑壘「目送」全壘打出去，認為該球一看就知道是界內。
