英醫院藥品過期 新生兒1死14重病

英國廣播公司4日報導，英格蘭兩家醫院驚傳將新生兒注射過期營養液造成1名嬰兒死亡，14名嬰兒出現敗血病症狀的悲劇。這些嬰兒多為早產兒，目前已送往英格蘭六所新生兒加護病房救治。

兩家出事的醫療機構發表聲明，「公司調查結果顯示這是藥品遭汙染的意外」。英國藥品和醫療產品管理中心已介入調查。

遭汙染的藥品為ITH藥廠生產，有進這批藥品的至少20家醫院已開始回收這批6月2日過期的162組問題藥品。
