家住台南市仁德區、今年20歲，就讀澎湖科技大學觀光休閒系三年級的許美萱，本月6日出發，規畫以兩個月時間完成徒步環島；為展現決心及方便梳洗，她將一頭秀髮理成大平頭。

她從仁德展開逆時鐘徒步環台之旅，已行經高雄、屏東縣市，預定9月初回到台南住家，她沿路借住派出所、學校、寺廟，每天僅花費兩百元。
