聯合頭條～1種疫苗可望防16種癌

中央研究院院長翁啟惠昨天表示，他和研究團隊研發的醣分子乳癌疫苗正在作第三期臨床試驗，若成功，不僅可治療乳癌，也可對至少十五種癌症產生有效抗體，「未來癌症可以像天花一樣絕跡」。

由聯合報與中研院主辦的「2014健康高峰論壇」，以「個人化防癌新未來」為主題，昨邀請國內醫學界巨擘，包括翁啟惠和中研院副院長陳建仁、台大醫學院特聘講座教授陳定信、高雄長庚醫院院長陳肇隆、輔大醫學院院長林肇堂和台大醫學院外科教授黃俊升，分別主講國內外乳癌、胃癌和肝癌治療新趨勢，現場座無虛席，還在主場樓上另開了同步的視訊場。～聯合報2014年7月20日頭版頭條
