【時報-台北電】BRT上路1個多月，今天發生首宗交通故事！上午9點半1輛從台中火車站開往靜宜大學站的BRT快捷巴士，在快進站時，1名65歲的張姓婦女開車誤闖BRT專用道，從車後撞上BRT，車頭全毀，張女胸部挫傷送醫，車上3名受輕傷，其他乘客也飽受驚嚇。

市府交通局長林良泰表示，肇事者小客車誤闖BRT專用道，幸好乘客和肇禍女車主無生命危險，但據道路交通管理處罰條例，汽、機車不依規定行駛或闖入專用車道行駛，可罰600至1800元，闖入專用車道臨時停車再罰600至1200元

林良泰說，BRT和乘客都有保險，釐清責任後，未來將對肇事者求償，BRT也進廠維修，因靜宜是終點站，不影響發車，也提醒駕駛者不要誤闖專用道。（新聞來源：中時即時 盧金足）
