洛磯在今天對海盜賽後宣布，明星游擊手Troy Tulowitzki將要動手術，確定本季報銷。

Troy Tulowitzki是在7月19日在匹茲堡擊出一記內野滾地球之後，全力跑向一壘的途中受傷，3天之後被放入傷兵名單。

洛磯表示，Troy Tulowitzki將於明天在柯羅拉多動左臀部的手術，治療他的傷勢。

這也是Troy Tulowitzki本季第一次進傷兵名單，不過他自2008年左大腿四頭肌受傷後，這個部位就經常酸痛，本季也因為這個原因休息過幾場比賽，這次的手術，跟舊傷同樣也有相關。

受傷之前Troy Tulowitzki本季出賽91場比賽，3成40打擊率全大聯盟最高，另外也打出21支全壘打，51分打點。
