[請問]英文中介紹兩人認識的先後順序問題

標題[請問]英文中介紹兩人認識的先後順序問題

今天在英文課上，教授說介紹兩人認識的時候， 應該先介紹higher ranking person(以下以professor舉例） 給lower ranking person(以下以student舉例) 意思是應該先說"This is professor..."為開頭 但這跟我所學到的etiquette不太相同， 因此我去找了以下文章 http://ppt.cc/udzG Step 1. 先敘述professor的名字 Step 2-4 介紹student給professor 偏偏我們教授說，它Step 1裡後面寫的"This is the higher ranking person" 就是在先介紹professor 但這句應該只是說明必須先稱呼higher ranking person吧!?
