每年10月是乳癌防治月，王中平的老婆余皓然1年前胸分泌透明液體，她不以為意，直到1個月前更衣時，發現胸部疑似出血，她才驚覺「大事不妙」，王中平也嚇出一身冷汗。

余皓然表示，以前上節目問過專家，都說透明分泌物沒關係，照超音波卻發現是不規則狀的腫塊，一度懷疑是乳癌。醫生進一步做乳房穿刺、乳管攝影，才確認是良性的乳管瘤，為了避免轉變為乳癌，上周開刀取出黃豆大小的腫瘤，醫生叮囑她每3個月就要做超音波檢查，兩年後確認健康無虞，才能改為1年追蹤檢查1次。

她過去生活規律正常，自認胸部小，不會碰上乳房疾病，「但有些事情沒有原因，乳管瘤根本摸不出來，我現在都勸周圍朋友去檢查，不要以為摸不到就沒事。」生病讓她因禍得福，王中平以往從不主動做家事，現在起床會幫她倒水、倒咖啡，主動洗碗，「昨天我要倒除濕機的水，他立刻衝過來說，這很重，讓我倒就好。」
