紐約將放寬持有大麻標準

紐約市市長白思豪10日宣布，在紐約持有少量大麻將不會被逮捕或起訴。

這項改變19日生效，在紐約持有25克以下大麻者，將不會被逮捕，而是可能面臨最高100美元的罰款。不過紐約市警察總局長布萊頓說，大麻在紐約仍屬違法，販賣大麻或公開吸食者仍會被逮捕。

白思豪說，這項政策調整目的是為了讓年輕人不要留下犯罪紀錄。紐約市一年有超過2萬件因持有少量大麻而被逮捕的案件，白思豪之前競選時，曾承諾要降低類似案件的件數。
