老樹免費醫治 下月開放申請

為保護老樹，福田樹木保育基金會今年續推「搶救老樹大作戰」計畫，向全國「徵樹」。只要符合樹齡60年以上、台灣原（特）生種樹木等7大評估指標的老樹生病了，即可提出申請，由樹醫團隊免費救治，即日起至2月27日開放申請。

福田執行長邱慧珠表示，許多樹木管理單位不夠專業，也不夠積極。推搶救老樹大作戰就是希望藉由基金會的「示範」，讓管理單位知道怎麼照顧老樹。

凡老樹種植在教育文化設施，如古蹟、學校內，樹齡60年以上，或台灣原（特）生種樹木，例如台灣樟樹、桃花心木等，以及縣市政府列管老樹、具珍貴文化紀念指標等，都列為優先評估對象。
