墨西哥寵物「安太歲」

墨西哥的寵物也要安太歲。不過，貓、狗安太歲不去廟裡而是去教堂，求神父幫忙。

墨西哥在西班牙人統治的時期就有了每年請神父替貓、狗，驅邪、消災的習俗。每年，天主教「動物保護神」聖安東尼過生日，飼主都可以帶貓、狗去接受祝福。

飼主領著貓、狗到聖壇前，請神父撒聖水，給貓、狗帶來好運。一名鸚鵡的飼主則說，希望神父的祝福可以讓他養的鸚鵡身體健康、早生貴子。
