例題1：
時速25公里 = 25 公里/小時
分速25公里 = 25 公里/分鐘
秒速25公里 = 25 公里/秒

若分子相同（25 公里），分母愈大，分數愈小。
因為： 秒 < 分鐘 < 小時
所以： 25 公里/秒 > 25 公里/分鐘 > 25 公里/小時
秒速 25 公里 > 分速 25 公里 > 時速 25 公里

例題2:
時速 8 公里 = 8 公里/小時
時速 8 公尺 = 8 公尺/小時
時速 8 公分 = 8 公分/小時

若分母（1 小時）相同，分子愈大，分數愈大。
因為： 8 公里 > 8 公尺 > 8 公分
所以： 8 公里/小時 > 8 公尺/小時 > 8 公分/小時
時速 8 公里 > 時速 8 公尺 > 時速 8 公分

例題3:
依例題1： 分速 3 公里 > 時速 3 公里
依例題2： 時速 3 公里 > 時速 3 公尺

故此： 分速 3 公里 > 時速 3 公里 > 時速 3 公尺
