南橫斷4天 醫療站病患大增

桃源南橫公路交通中斷進入第四天，復興里以上部落居民身體不適無法下山就醫，所幸6月甫成立的拉芙蘭醫療站發揮功效，本周來看診人數倍增，桃源衛生所也無需啟動電腦視訊問診，醫護人員壓力減輕不少。

台20線南橫公路勤和至復興河底便道逢雨沖毀，替代道路玉穗農路狀況也同樣不穩定。因應道路常態性中斷，高雄市府衛生局申請衛服部「缺醫村」經費，6月份在拉芙蘭里成立醫療站，設置急救設備，並與醫學中心合作，派駐醫護人員上山駐點服務。

麥德姆颱風來襲，22日晚間起，南橫公路復興便道與玉穗農路陸續中斷，公路局甲仙工務段預計31日恢復交通，玉穗農路也全力搶通施工，復興里以上居民多日無法下山。

桃源區衛生所主任邱孟肇指出，這幾天復興里以上部落交通全斷，所幸拉芙蘭醫療站配置醫師一人、護士一人，以及一名行政人員，不再成為醫療孤島，桃源衛生所壓力連帶減輕。
