抗伊波拉 獅子山禁藏匿患者

西非的獅子山共和國已通過新法，藏匿伊波拉病患將觸犯刑法，違者最高可處2年徒刑。這項法令22日在國會通過立法，已送交總統批准。

獅子山國國會議員凱開表示，部分居民不願意配合政府的抗疫措施，而在自己的社區設立隔離中心，因此必須採取強制手段。

伊波拉病毒在西非賴比瑞亞、幾內亞和獅子山蔓延，也入侵奈及利亞，死亡人數攀至1427人，2615人感染。

可是世界衛生組織表示，這些數字未能反映真實的狀況，因為有些患者的家屬擔心伊波拉的高致死率，以及確診後可能遭受社會的歧視，乾脆藏匿病患，導致當局難以掌握這波伊波拉疫情的真正規模。

另外，一名在獅子山感染伊波拉的英國醫護人員已搭乘英國軍機，離開獅國首都自由城，飛往倫敦諾斯霍特皇家空軍基地。他將被送往倫敦北區皇家自由醫院，接受隔離治療。這名患者是首位確認感染伊波拉的英國人。
