惜敗阿根廷 菲打出亞洲驚奇

2014年世界盃男籃賽，菲律賓2日以81：85惜敗世界排名第3的超級強權阿根廷，雖然輸球，但可以說是扎扎實實的「亞洲驚奇」。

雖然比賽地點遠在西班牙，不少熱情的菲律賓球迷依舊到場加油，球員沒讓他們失望，拉出12：2瘋狂攻勢，令人驚艷。

經驗豐富的「黃金世代」自然非省油的燈，不疾不徐地靠著外線砲火追分，但也遲遲無法站穩領先優勢。

第3節最後2分鐘，Luis Scola連得5分，率領阿根廷領先達15分，但決勝節菲律賓又靠著Jimmy Alapag的外線、Andray Blatche單打，最後2分鐘追到1分差距。

可惜菲律賓試圖超前的外線出手被守死，Andres Nocioni的兩罰將領先擴大為4分，阿根廷驚險過關。

菲律賓睽違36年重返世界盃（原世錦賽）戰場，雖然預賽苦吞3連敗，但當中只輸克羅埃西亞3分、阿根廷4分，表現其實不差。
