香港樂團「Beyond」鬧內鬨，成員黃家強指責黃貫中因計較收入導致樂團拆夥，黃貫中面對指控，選擇沉默以對，有港媒報導黃貫中是因老婆朱茵又懷上第二胎，所以他才未回擊，讓老婆安心養胎。

朱茵和黃貫中已育有兩歲愛女，夫妻日前為女兒慶生，媒體捕捉到朱茵一身寬鬆裙裝，腳踩平底鞋，為了保護孕肚，連走路的動作也不敢太大，小心翼翼，而女兒平常最愛和媽媽討抱，不過當晚這個任務落到老公黃貫中身上，由老公抱女兒同行。

>港媒報導因朱茵懷孕未滿3個月，至今仍未對外宣布有喜，僅有身邊少數親友知情，43歲的她也開始調整生活作息，等著迎接第二胎的到來，而老公黃貫中即將二度當爸，自然也懶得捲進黃家強的口水戰。
