一些義大利人爭取威尼斯獨立　遭警方逮捕

一些威尼斯人爭取獨立，還策劃攻擊「聖馬可廣場」，遭義大利警方逮捕．

這些威尼斯人，很早就希望讓威尼斯和週邊地區，也就是「維尼托」地區，脫離義大利，宣布獨立。他們最近舉行公投，參加投票的民眾，8成9贊成這個地區獨立行動。

這些激進份子為向義大利政府施壓，準備在5月25號，也就是「歐洲議會」選舉當天，對威尼斯「聖馬可廣場」發動武裝攻擊。

義大利警方獲知後，逮捕24人，還有27人接受調查。警方指控這批人，試圖透過恐怖活動，破壞民主法治，以及非法製造和擁有武器．

警方查獲這些人準備使用的武器，包括他們用卡車改裝成的裝甲車，還有大砲、手槍、步槍和彈藥。

兩百多年前，威尼斯曾經是獨立國家，因此一些威尼斯人，一直夢想回到過去，讓威尼斯獨立，並在1997年成立組織，推動獨立計畫，被警方取締，這些人前年再次成立組織，推動獨立，並準備5月25號，對「聖馬可廣場」發動武裝攻擊。
