福島電廠建凍牆 阻輻汙水外洩

（中央社台北2014年5月27日電）報導指出，日本受重創的福島核電廠已獲准興建地下「冷凍牆」，來防堵輻汙水外洩。

英國「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，獲日本原子能規制委員會（NRA）批准建造的這座冷凍牆，將凍結福島核電廠4座反應爐周圍的土壤，以防止輻汙水外洩，並阻擋附近山坡的地下水流入。

「日本時報」報導，這項由日本東京電力公司（TEPCO）提出的計畫，估計將耗費日本政府320億日圓（1.86億英鎊）。

冷凍牆預計下月動工。

日本原子能規制委員會原本擔心，冷凍牆可能導致周遭地層下陷，不過昨天接受東電說法，也就是即使部分地區地層可能下陷達1.6公分，仍不足以引發安全憂慮。（譯者：中央社蔡佳伶）
