竊盜前科犯醉後偷挖生薑被捕

橫山警分局逮捕涉嫌偷挖薑的游姓嫌犯，依竊盜罪嫌移送偵辦。記者林麒瑋╱攝影
去年12月4日，位在新竹縣橫山鄉竹30線道旁的薑園主人朱先生報案，薑園遭不明人士盜挖，損失15萬元，警方到場蒐證，現場遺留不明人士的手套與菸蒂，橫山警分局將證物帶回化驗，查出是36歲、平日遊手好閒的游姓嫌犯，今天下午在游嫌位於尖石鄉嘉樂村的住處將他逮捕。

據警方調查，游嫌有竊盜和毒品等前科，去年8月才出獄，在獄中認識綽號阿明的友人，去年12月4日一同到竹30線道旁的薑園挖薑，游嫌表示，當時喝很醉，並不知道是誰的薑園，事後也未將盜挖的薑取走。警方依竊盜罪嫌將游嫌移送偵辦。
