卡尼：蘇格蘭若獨立 將很難再用英鎊

英格蘭銀行（英國央行）總裁卡尼表示，如果蘇格蘭經由公投決定脫離英國，蘇格蘭將很難再用英鎊作為貨幣。

卡尼表示，「我已得到國會所有主要黨派告知，將排除獨立的蘇格蘭與英國其他部分成立貨幣同盟的可能性。在這種背景下，貨幣同盟與主權兩者將無法並存」。

卡尼指出，要成功地共用貨幣，需要資本、勞力及商品都能自由流通；需成立銀行同盟，雙方擁有可靠的最終借款管道及存款保證計畫；還需要財政協定，來消除兩個不同經濟體之間的差異。

他說，「如果不能擁有這些要素，則預測未來將如何，無異於以管窺豹。這純粹是經濟學的觀點」。
