澎湖孔廟重修完工 魁星樓仍保留原貌

已有248年歷史的澎湖孔廟歷經多次整修，只有魁星樓仍保留原貌惟封閉多年，被列入危險建築，澎湖縣政府文化局去年重修，昨舉行完工神尊安座儀式，近期將移交民政處管理。

文化局表示，澎湖孔廟的前身是創建於西元1766（乾隆31年）年的文石書院，西元1963年重修時，魁星樓(登瀛樓)是唯一保留原貌的建築，也是台灣唯一留有魁星樓的書院；文石書院在中法戰爭中受到破壞，日治初期，設立為野戰醫院，醫院撤走後，書院才重修改建成澎湖孔廟。

文化局指出，文石書院創建就建有魁星樓，西元1829（道光9年）年將魁星樓改建在書院東南方；建築平面為四角形，簷廊下四角各有一個拱形開口，建築色彩鮮豔，因為是書院中的建築，裝飾較樸實。

魁星樓構造為硓石、磚、木混合二樓四角形建築物，歇山式屋頂，正脊為三川脊形式，上有簡單的花草剪黏式樣；脊堵剪黏與斜脊上的歷塑都是以花草樣式為主，造型簡潔。

魁星樓雖有中國閣樓重檐屋面，二樓帶廊與附屬在書院建物東南方等常見建築手法，但在建物細部與構材上，卻融入澎湖當地慣用建材，是台灣少見附屬於書院的魁星樓建築，2002年公告為歷史建築。
