微軟全球再裁2100人 關閉矽谷研究中心

微軟（Microsoft Corp）（ (US-MSFT) ）周四（18日）宣布第 2 輪人力精簡，全球共 2100 名員工收到裁員通知；此為重整計畫中的第 2 波裁員行動。

微軟發言人表示，這波裁員遍及不同國家與部門，其中西雅圖總部裁 747 人。

此外，發言人也證實位在 Mountain View 的矽谷研究中心縮減 50 人後將會關閉，整併入西雅圖總部以及位在紐約、波士頓的研發辦公室；發言人強調，這波裁員不代表微軟將降低研發投資，矽谷研究中心的專案也不會就此結束。

微軟執行長 Satya Nadella 上任後積極進行人力重整，預計縮減 14% 或 1.8 萬名員工；先前 7 月首波裁員已大砍約 1.3 萬人，這也表示未來 9 個月微軟還會再讓 2900 名員工走路。

微軟周四股價小漲 0.34%，報 46.68 美元。
