新加坡計劃成立國際商業法庭

新加坡3日表示，計劃成立國際商業法庭，協助解決亞洲愈來愈多的跨國商業糾紛。

新加坡法務部表示，2020年亞洲的國內生產毛額（GDP）可望成長至34.9兆美元，比2010年高兩倍。在這種背景下，跨國糾紛的數量和複雜度可能上升，成立新加坡國際商業法庭（SICC）將有助解決這些糾紛。

法務部說，SICC將為新加坡建立國際仲裁首選地的聲譽。偉凱法律事務所（White & Case）的調查指出，1991年成立的新加坡國際仲裁中心（SIAC），是全球第四受信賴的仲裁機構。新加坡國際仲裁中心去年處理235件、價值36.1億星元（28.7億美元）的糾紛。

法律部說：「從新加坡國際仲裁中心大獲成功來看，成立國際商業法庭將使新加坡成為亞洲和其他地區更具吸引力的解決糾紛之處。」
