挺蘇格蘭留英 作家羅琳捐百萬英鎊

執筆「哈利波特」（Harry Potter）系列小說的英國暢銷作家JK羅琳（JKRowling），已捐出100萬英鎊（168萬美元）給反對蘇格蘭脫離英國獨立的組織，以推動相關活動。

羅琳今天表示，她相信蘇格蘭留在英國比較好。

羅琳住在蘇格蘭首府愛丁堡（Edinburgh），也是將在9月18日的獨立公投中，決定蘇格蘭是否要結束與英國長達307年關係的約400萬選民之一。

支持英國-蘇格蘭聯合的組織「在一起更好」（Better Together）發言人證實，羅琳捐出100萬英鎊，以支持推動相關活動。

美聯社報導，羅琳說，擔心蘇格蘭獨立後，經濟和醫療研究方面將受到衝擊。

羅琳今天在官網發表聲明說，她認為「獨立可能帶給我們許多機會…但也會帶來重大風險。」
