茄子基因組 日本破解了

又一項農作物基因組破解了。日本農業和食品產業技術綜合研究機構與上總ＤＮＡ研究所合作，破解茄子的基因組。

新華社報導，研究人員以日本自古栽培的茄子品種「中生真黑」為研究對象，解讀這個品種約11.27億個鹼基對之中，超過98%的DNA序列，共發現約4.2萬個基因，其中約7600個是茄子特有的基因。

研究人員發現，這些基因有些與抗病能力有關，有的參與合成綠原酸。綠原酸可以抗氧化，能防止細胞和DNA受活性氧的損害。此次獲得的成果將有助於開發出抗病力更強、口感更好的的茄子新品種。研究成果的論文已刊登在英國《ＤＮＡ研究》雜誌的網絡版。
